Role Summary

The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting the Equities team in various aspects of investment support as well as administration.

You will be integral in providing support to the Equities team to ensure the Portfolio Managers and Research Analysts are able to function at optimal efficiency.

Education Qualification

  • Degree in a relevant discipline.

Experience and Skills

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the financial services sector, preferably with exposure to the Equities sector
  • Strong quantitative and Excel skills
  • Proficient in Powerpoint and generating Charts
  • Ability to work independently and find solutions to problems that may arise
  • Good team player and eager to take on new responsibilities
  • Eye for detail and ability to multi-task to support a relatively large team
  • Knowledge of FactSet, Thomson Financials and Bloomberg would be helpful

Role Summary

The selected intern will be working on various data analytics and data management projects for the fixed income team and may be involved with marketing related market and competitor analysis projects at a later stage. The intern must also be prepared to perform basic data entry or administrative work relating to the projects.

Some of the projects that the intern will be working on for the FI team will include but not limited to the below.

1. Enhancement of excel-based portfolio position reports
2. Enhancement of current MOS portfolio reports
3. Support the development of tracking tools for the credit team
4. Support the development of market data templates
5. Develop and test the suitability of Bloomberg portfolio analytics tools for FI portfolios


  • Undergraduates who are able to commit for a 6 month period or graduates who are awaiting entry to Master's program.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, with a working knowledge of VBA.
  • Working knowledge of MS Access would be an additional advantage
  • Possesses Interest in learning about funds.
  • Self-starters who can work without the need for constant supervision

Role Summary

The Multi-Asset team manages a range of global multi-asset strategies which invest across global equities, fixed income and foreign exchange markets. We believe in having multiple allocation investment processes, each with an independent investment process and philosophy. This is used in managing both absolute and relative return portfolios in a range of risk profiles.

To augment our existing team, we are looking for a number of allocators, portfolio managers or strategists who have experience in tactical asset or risk allocation across countries, sectors, themes or styles. Depending upon experience and track record, the right candidate may be given charge of a pool of assets to be managed independently, or be assigned to work within a team approach.


Education Qualification

  • At least a Honours degree in any finance, business, commerce, science or mathematics discipline.


Experience and Skills

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in cross-asset allocation, sector allocation, thematic allocation, equity allocation, credit allocation or investment strategy.
  • Experience with an investment process based either on a quantitative or fundamental approach, but which is grounded in a robust methodology, which can be demonstrated to add value.
  • Either top-down allocation or bottom up strategists would be considered.
  • Experience or exposure to global markets would be strongly preferred; however regional exposure will also be acceptable.
  • A confirmed track record to manage asset allocation funds would be highly desirable
  • Experience in a robust portfolio construction and risk management process would be preferred.
  • Ability to take independent responsibility for an asset pool would be preferred
  • Ability to think out of the box and ability to create novel and unique investment methodologies would be a plus.
