As part of Equities team, the selected candidate will be focused on equities research for the healthcare sector in Asia and globally. You should have a strong track record in stock picking with the goal of generating absolute and relative outperformance.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Idea generation and conduct in-depth fundamental analysis as well as thorough financial modeling of Korean companies.
  • Keeping a close eye on business trends, competition and new regulatory policy impacting the covered sector
  • Conduct company visits and/or conference calls with management of companies under coverage
  • Prepare detailed and extensive research report, and present/propose individual stock ideas that have been comprehensively analyzed in a convincing and thorough manner to Portfolio Managers
  • Engage industry consultants
  • Assist Portfolio Manager in portfolio management duties

Experience and Skills

  • You should have minimally 5 years of relevant experience covering Korean companies
  • You have a good eye for details, possess strong analytic and quantitative skillset
  • You should be proficient with advanced computer software such as spreadsheets and database programs
  • You are highly driven, resourceful, able to work under time pressure and operate effectively in a dynamic working environment

As part of ESG team, the selected candidate will support Head of ESG in the development of Fullerton’s ESG investment policies and assist with relevant ESG research for incorporation into our investment process.


Key Duties and Responsibilities
Assisting and supporting the Head of ESG in:

  • Dealing with internal stakeholders to incorporate ESG principles and values as part of the firm-wide philosophy
  • Working with external research service providers to build capacity within the ESG investment research process
  • Conducting internal ESG research for investee companies not supported by external research
  • Supporting the development of ESG strategies/products for both the retail and institutional markets

The Head of ESG will report to CEO and CIO and will be responsible for creating a holistic vision and philosophy for ESG and sustainable investing across Fullerton at both Corporate and Investment level.  The incumbent will be responsible for developing a Centre of Excellence for all ESG related initiatives to support Fullerton’s ESG journey to integrate sustainable thinking in our strategies.


Key Duties and Responsibilities


Responsible for all ESG policies at both Corporate and Investment levels:


    • Formulating and driving the implementation of Fullerton’s ESG policies and framework across the firm

    • Be the Ambassador for ESG across the firm

    • Initiate ESG training and develop ongoing training agenda across the firm to build ESG awareness and culture

    • Assist CIO in overseeing the implementation of ESG investment process

    • Assist the Investment Committee in formulation and safeguarding the investment process incorporating ESG

    • Work across teams to promote ESG-related investment solutions to clients

    • Phased approach across Equities and Fixed Income investment universe

  • Lead team in incorporating research from external vendors and counterparties to internal processes and conducting internal ESG research for investee companies not supported by external research; and supporting research analysts and portfolio managers in incorporating material ESG factors into the investment analysis and decision-making

The selected candidate will be part of our investment and operational risk team, providing support in investment risk management (with focus on credit and counterparty)

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Produce risk reports, analyze and monitor risk exposures (e.g. credit, counterparty, market, liquidity)
  • Ensure accuracy and prompt delivery of the reports, investigate and rectify any data quality issue
  • Responsible for maintenance of data owned by Risk
  • Propose and implement improvements/automation as and when necessary
  • Assist in requirements gathering, evaluation, testing and roll-out of risk systems
  • Assist in drafting/reviewing risk documentation
  • Develop risk analytics tools


Experience and Skills

  • 1 to 3 years in risk management or investment will be preferred

The selected candidate will be part of our Multi-Asset team and is an experienced portfolio manager responsible for creating customized investment solutions to meet specific clients’ requirements with an aim to achieve top quartile performance.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages multi-asset portfolios to specific portfolio objectives with a specific focus on the risk/return relationship among multiple asset classes (i.e. equity, fixed income, commodities and currencies, etc).
  • Generate positive return on an absolute return basis, within the framework of a defined risk constraint.
  • Monitor investment positions taken, with incorporation of take profit or stop loss decisions
  • Contribute to the investment process with a strong emphasis on research and risk management
  • Design and structure robust portfolios to achieve the financial objectives of our clients
  • Identify medium term trends and draw investment insights from sector and company level developments.
  • Customize investment solutions to meet specific clients’ requirements
  • Work with other investment teams and clients regarding portfolio design, investment strategies and strategic and tactical positioning.

  • Minimum 15 years of portfolio management experience, with proven track record

This role will report directly to Chief Investment Officer (CIO).

The selected candidate will work closely with the CIO to formulate the global investment strategy across asset classes for Fullerton for implementation and communication with external stakeholders, including clients and consultants, so to create a distinct differentiation on Fullerton‘s branding and promote the firm’s outperformance

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Build and refine both qualitative and quantitative analysis and modeling for the asset allocation across public and private markets

Formulate global asset allocation views across asset classes and geographies including FOREX

Formulate and drive a strategic house view to further enhance our investment strategy

Translate government policies, macro-economic research & analysis to market views for implementation of investment strategy calls both strategic and tactical levels to investment portfolios.

Produce regular investment strategy and outlook pieces to present CIO and investment team views for external communications

Produce thematic thought pieces on medium term trends in the industry and in global markets for external communications

Work across other investment teams to collate and synthesize various inputs and views into the overall investment narrative


Experience and Skills:

Should have minimum 20 years of relevant experience in the role
