Investment Analyst

Role Summary

This is an Investment Analyst role reporting to the Head of Equities Research. The individual will be part of the Equities team under the Investment group. The analyst for this position will be based in Singapore.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Produce investment research reports with actionable investment ideas for the firm’s equity portfolios as part of the firm’s Equities Research team
  • Generate alpha investment ideas for relative and absolute return portfolios for the sectors, industries and countries assigned
  • Depending on the candidate’s experience, country coverage could include US, Europe or India. Sectoral coverage could include industrials, real estate or financials. Over time, coverage and responsibilities of the individual can change, based on team needs and the individual’s experience and aspirations.
  • Contribute to other research team initiatives that periodically arise

Education Qualification

  • Degree holder
  • CFA (preferably)

Experience and Skills

  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in an analyst role
  • Investment experience and specialisation in the sectors mentioned above
  • Solid fundamental bottom-up research analysis skills
  • Good team player who embraces a collaborative and open working culture that matches Fullerton’s core values
  • Willing to speak up and challenge status quo
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Desire to be part of a high-performing investment team with an ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
