Fullerton's sustainability initiative:
Local Labels Global Flavours
ESG is at the heart of our investment ethos. We are conscious of our societal impact on the wider community – striving to do right and do good. As part of our corporate sustainability initiative, we launched Local Labels Global Flavours. This effort was conceptualised in line with the Singapore government’s “30 by 30” goal – to produce 30% of our nutritional needs domestically by 2030, up from the current 10%.
This initiative spotlights local food producers and how they’re using science and technology to build a more resilient domestic supply chain. It not only celebrates the grit and ingenuity of our farmers and producers, but it’s also an inspirational compendium on sustainable eating, drawing awareness to the wide variety of lovely local produce that we have here in our backyard.
Through this, we hope to inspire a renewed perspective on local produce and spark a shift in consumption habits.
Featured local producers: Growing sustainably in our backyard
There is a whole community of local food producers who are leaning towards innovative and sustainable farming methods to strengthen the resilience of Singapore’s food supply. From fish to vegetables, goat’s milk to eggs and even protein alternatives, these companies are producing a wide variety of produce that rivals any imported ones.
Featured contributing chefs and recipes: Ideating recipes championing local produce
Working with local celebrity chefs who share the same passion for local produce and responsible consumption, we have created a whole series of different recipes. From basic, hearty dishes to more elegant canapes, there’s something for the average home cook to those who love a bit more challenge. Have fun exploring.
